Korean Brand Purito in collaboration with ABCommunity UAE

After joining some of the ABCommunity UAE events after the first meet up, I was lucky to be invited for a product launch of a South Korean brand Purito held in Dubai, UAE! One of their newest products (launched in 2019), let's get started!

Brand: PURITO

Purito is a South Korean skincare brand that came from the combined words of "Purify" and "To” (comes from a Chinese character, 土 meaning “Soil”).

• “Purify” means to purify their natural ingredients to create safe and clean products. 
• “To” means to go back to basics to strengthen and repair collapsed skin barriers.

The brand’s philosophy is to go back to the basics, without any harmful chemicals and EWG (Environmental Working Group) Green Level Certified. Meaning to say, their products are free from all the unwanted ingredients which are not safe to be used.

Product: CENTELLA GREEN LEVEL UNSCENTED SUN

As hot as Dubai summer can get, and we can’t avoid going out, we all need a sunscreen. Purito’s newest product is a sunscreen and it might be your next holy grail product!

The new product 'Centella Green Level Unscented Sun' claims that it is "highly concentrated super Centella and enjoy cica-care with increased content of Madecassoside. The new cica-care enhances the skin barrier to provide better protection from strong ultraviolet rays and external stimuli". 

It says the product "contains mild and safe ingredients that are EWG Green Level Grades 1 and 2 to avoid side effects of the existing chemical sunscreens such as eye and skin irritation. It doesn’t cause any discomfort, even when applied to sensitive skin".

Update: As of January 2022, I don't see Centella Green Level Unscented Sun Cream from Purito's website anymore. I am not sure if it was phased out already (sorry I can't keep up with news!). If you're looking for other sun cream from the same brand, you may check this product however I have not tried this yet.

Venue

The event was held in TIME Grand Plaza Hotel and they even offered a short tour of the property which I really find helpful as I have no idea about this property beforehand. To share with you what I learned, TIME Grand Plaza Hotel is a 4-star property located in Al Qusais District. It is just a 10-minute drive from the Dubai International Airport and a 20-minutes drive from the Dubai Downtown

The property doesn't only have amazing facilities but they also have the perfect venue for the event which is the rooftop pavilion next to the swimming pool. Check it out!

An idea from the husband of one of the organizers (@iwishyouclearskin) , it's none other than summer! Matching the current weather in the UAE (which is summer) the event indeed is a refreshing summer pool party vibe!

Despite the hot (and humid) summer weather in the UAE, it was an enjoyable event! Not only we get to know the latest product from Purito, we were able to catch up with friends as well.

Now I am super excited about my upcoming outdoor activities and use Purito’s Centella Green Level Unscented Sun!
